Self Care is getting a lot of attention these days. What is Self Care and what happens when we do not take care of our selves?  "Self Care in essence is the mindful taking time to pay attention to you, not in a narcissistic way, but in a way that ensures that you are being cared for by you," states Maria Baratta Ph.D., L.C.S.W. When we do not take care of ourselves disaster to the mind, body, and finances is sure to come. This Shop Talk will review the signs of Burnout and provide tips on how to overcome through Self Care. The Shop Talk will be led by The Shepherd Training and Empowerment Institute. The institute was founded in 2018 by Josephus Shepherd, CPA and his two sons, Jonathan Shepherd, M.D. (BMHA Board President) and Jason Shepherd. The three Shepherd family members will share the impact of Burnout on an individual's financial wealth, mental health capacity, and spiritual well-being, including empowering tools and tips.  Please join us for this timely discussion!
