Marketing Essentials + Websites for Artists

Saturday November 10

Beaverton | Oregon | United States

Marketing Essentials + Websites for Artists This workshop is designed for any artist seeking tools and strategies to facilitate authentically engaging people with their work. Effective marketing for an artist requires a study of who they are and what they want from their artistic practice and career. Working from this philosophy, we’ll specifically touch upon topics that span communicating your work, website design, marketing plans, social media, guerrilla marketing, press relations, identifying and retaining audience/s, and current habits of arts audiences. We’ll visit a range of marketing concepts and best practices so that participants can take away tactics to develop and make representing, discussing, and marketing their work an authentic extension of their artistic and professional practice. _____________________________________________________________________________ Presenter: Noelle Stiles Based in Portland, Oregon, Noelle Stiles is an independent dance artist, graphic designer, and consultant.
