Art Therapy Peer Group- Studio

Saturday November 10

Brighton | Victoria | Australia

This Studio aspect of the Art Therapy Peer group will support you to engage with your creative identity, and how it might relate to your art therapist identity. We are prompted to give ourselves time between the bi-monthly sessions to play with creative process, and explore a recommended reading. Back in the Studio we will be invited to reflect on our process through creative expression. There will opportunity to share your experience and hear those of your peers. Each of us are encouraged to attend most sessions to get to know our peers and give ourselves time to enjoy the journey. Artistic skill is not required. Your creative expression can be in any mode you connect with, and does not need to be aesthetically refined. Art Therapy Peer Group began grassroots in 2014. Today, a core group of qualified attendees welcome new art therapists and trainees to share their own professional and personal journeys. Running alongside the Studio series, meetings are held in Burwood which are facilitated by your peers in diverse informational and experiential styles. This Studio series will be facilitated by qualified art therapist Sue Guzick, co-founder and participant in the peer group since its origin.  Please note: For session attendance you shall be a qualified or studying art therapist.
