Friday November 9

Akron

WHAT'S THE BLOCKLAND SOLUTIONS HACKATHON? Industry professionals - as well as students in high school and college - are invited to participate in the inaugural Blockland Solutions Hackathon. Participants will be challenged to come up with a prototype using blockchain technologies during the event. Not familiar with Blockchain? No problem! There are two opportunities to attend an Introduction to Blockchain Workshop at Tri-C Metro Campus before the Hackathon: Wednesday, October 23 5:30-8PM (in conjunction with the October Crypto Cleveland Meetup, pizza is provided) Saturday, October 27 1-3PM Attendance at this workshop is highly encouraged if you plan to attend the Hackathon, but have no experience with blockchain. The content is the same at each Workshop, therefore you only have to sign up for one of the dates. If you cannot attend the Workshop in person, it will be live streamed and recorded. Click here to register for the Workshop.  HACKATHON DETAILS TIMELINE Friday, November 9: Doors open at 5PM If you have not used blockchain technologies before, there will be an in-depth workshop on Friday evening to help get you set up to work on your project Sunday, November 11: Judging ends around 1PM, recognition ceremony to start soon afterwards Participants will be allowed to stay at the facility throughout the entire weekend, however they are welcome to come and go as they please. There will be security on the premises throughout the weekend.
