Harmony's Student Council and the Queen of Hearts candidates are holding two red out games. The first game will be Tuesday, February 13th at 6:30. This is a varsity girls' game versus Moshannon Valley. The second game will be Wednesday, February 14th at 7:30. This is a varsity boys' game versus Curwensville. The Queen of Hearts candidates will be taking orders for red shirts starting this week. They are $10. There will also be shirts available for purchase at the door for both games. We will be selling these to raise money for the American Heart Association. We will be donating the money in memory of our beloved friend, teacher, coach, and mentor, Ralph Butterworth. There will be a special presentation at halftime during both varsity games. The Queen of Hearts candidates will be presenting special gifts to the Butterworth family. If you are interested in donating money for this great cause or purchasing a red shirt, you can get in touch with me or one of the Queen of Hearts candidates: Michaela Brothers, Alexis Keith, Josie McKee, Elizabeth Rorabaugh, Sidney Rowles, and McKenzie Watson. If you have any questions, you can email me at [email protected]
Here is what the shirts look like. If you would like to order one, you can order from one of the Queen of Hearts candidates or you can send in your order and payment to the school. Include your name, phone number, how many shirts you want, the sizes, and payment. Do not send cash. Make out check or money order to HAF. Address the envelope to Harmony Jr/Sr High C/O Crystal Graffius, Student Council Advisor. The school's address is 5239 Ridge Road Westover, PA 16692. If you have a child in the district, you can send your order in with your child. Address the envelope to Mrs. Graffius. We have 100 shirts to be sold at the door. Those will be on a first come, first serve basis. We want to fill the gym with red in memory of Mr. Butterworth. For anyone ordering shirts, all orders and money are due by Monday, January 29th. Thank you all for supporting this event. As soon as my rep from the AHA sends me a picture of the shirt, I will post a picture of the shirt on here. I can't physically be there but my heart goes out to you guys!
