Esther 5:1 The third day is a very common and significant day in the bible. Genesis 1:13 (First mention concerns God) Genesis 22:4 (First mention concerning man) Genesis 40:12-20; 42:18 (Joseph is the greatest type of Jesus Christ in the Bible - over 150 times) Matthew 16:21 (Jesus Christ prophesies of his death, burial, and resurrection - notice Peter did not believe the "gospel") Day One: Wednesday Night Death & Burial (Day of the Preparation: Mark 15:42; Luke 23:43, 54-55) – Thursday Night (Starts at 6 pm)/All Day (High Sabbath Day: Luke 24:54-56; John 19:31) Day Two: Friday Night (Starts at 6 pm)/All Day Day Three: Saturday Night (Starts at 6 pm)/All Day (Resurrection at some point during the “day”: 1 Cor. 15:4; Acts 10:40; Mt. 27:64; Luke 9:22; 13:32; 18:33; 24:7, 21, 46) The 3rd Day would be a picture of the 2nd Advent because a day can represent 1,000 years in the bible (2 Peter 3:8-10) Exodus 19:11-16 Hosea 6:2 *John 2:1 – possibly a picture of marriage supper between Jesus Christ and the Church making this event during the 2nd advent just before the start of the millennium (Revelation 19) cf. Mt. 22:1-14 First Day of the Week (Mt. 27:1; Mark 16:2; Luke 24:1; John 20:1): Sunday starts at 6 pm (“When the morning was come”, Jesus Christ shows himself “very early in the morning while it is “yet dark”). cf. Malachi 4:1-2 The First Day of the Week would be the start of the Millennial Reign of Christ (a.k.a. “day of the Lord”) *Not 100% sure because it could also represent a marriage/remarriage between God the Father and Israel. Also note this marriage is one that Jesus Christ is "attending" and not a part of.
