Laughter Yoga is an incredibly fun, gentle cardiovascular workout with mental and physical health benefits, including: -lowered stress and cortisol levels, -higher levels of endorphins, -a boost to the immune system, -increased self-confidence, and -relief from chronic pain. Our group laughter is joyfully simulated with full body laughter exercises and combined with yoga breathing. This brings more oxygen to the body which makes one feel more energetic and healthy. The simulated laughter soon turns into real and contagious laughter that lifts our spirits, connects us, and carries over into our everyday lives. After the exercises we do a little laughter meditation and end with a few peaceful moments of guided relaxation. CLOTHING/WATER: Comfortable clothing is recommended. No yoga mats needed.
